CPI “MI LUGAR EN EL SUR”

 

 

The Early Childhood Education Center (CPI or Centro de Primera Infancia) ensures the healthy development of children from age 45 days to three years who are in vulnerable socioeconomic conditions. Children are assisted by a team of experts comprised of social work professionals, psychomotricity and educational psychologists.

 

Each day consists of eight hours where 160 children are provided:

 

•   Nutritional attention: breakfast, lunch and snack with a special menu designed by nutricionists

• Health care: Preventional activities and promotional materiales regarding health through workshops available to the entire community

•  Early stimulation and education activities: Training through participatory workshops for the families designed to inform, accompany and support them on the raising and development of their children and strengthening their relationship with them
